I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 27: Simeon at the Temple
That day the Spirit led him to the temple. Luke 2:27
Perhaps Simeon was going to do some work around the house or take a day off or fulfill some other tasks. But when he woke up, the Holy Spirit of God said, go to the temple today. Still today the Holy Spirit leads us, sometimes away from things sometimes into things. He often does this through inner promptings. We can reject or accept these Promptings of the Spirit. Often, they are given to draw us nearer to the Lord. In Simeon's Case the prompting brought him to the temple the very day Jesus was being dedicated. Let God guide you!!!
