I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 19: King Davids descendant
And because Joseph was a descendant of King David.... Luke 2:4
Isaiah prophesied about 700 years before the birth of Christ, that the Saviour would come from the family lineage of David. (Isaiah 11) There are also many other Prophecies predicting this. Oh, how God must have watched over that family tree. We know of Many mistakes and faults and the devils attempts in this family of Davids and probably many more we don't know. God however remained faithful to His promise. And throughout our lives he will remain faithful to those of us who believe and trust in Him, until that day.
